Got Misty just over 2 weeks ago from Denise. Belonged to a family with a small section and a very low gate so kept getting out. Her name was Nova and has adjusted to her new name and surroundings very easily. Doesn't even think about leaving the section as it is large and she gets so much attention and exercise she knows she is onto a good thing. Very fussy eater when we first got her but now she is widening her tastes. Have alot of bones in the freezer for her which she loves to munch on. When you come home she goes straight to her favourite toy and greets you with a " Hi I'm Ready to play " look. Feels like she has been here longer than 2 weeks as she is definitely a loved member of the family.
That is great to hear Steve. I was going to get in contact re your followup visit. Been a rather hectic weekend, with arranging pick ups and drop off all at a time I had no vehicle.
Sounds like you want to make all this permanent lol.
I am going to post your message on the rescue family chat group also as they have been wondering how you have been getting on.

Yay another happy story. I'm convinced, that although other breeds do this, fetching their favourite toys with huge excitement and pride, and presenting it to Mum or Dad when they get home - is a Shepherd thing - and so endearing!
