Hands up who is giving their doggies xmas presents! And what is Santa paws giving your doggy?
Lexi is getting a giant tennis ball as she loves to chew on them. The current tennis ball is more like a giant pancake.
Mara is getting a huge stuffed Nemo as the stuffed rabbit has had most of the stuffing pulled out of it.

The doggies in this house get Christmas Presents. In fact they probably get more than I do. Such fun watching them opening their gifts.

Last year Sheba was the baby & had fun this year its Chloe's first xmas so it will be interesting to see how she reacts.

Absolutely! Jolly Molly Muffin dog already has hers - a giant blue stuffed elephant - she can barely carry it but loves it (Pinky who? [previous toy]) Little Shelby will get her treats soon too - more Chewz (BBQ and chicken flavoured)

Hmmmm might have to get Karly something now, can't have her feeling left out and seeing as we can't spend the special day with her, will have to see what we can do for her <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> she doesn't like toys, so will have to appeal to her phantom labrador side and get her food (no offence intended to any labrador owners/lovers)

Miss Karly is the least like a labrador. Just because she likes Schmacko's doesn't mean a thing. How about the GIANT size bag for her. My dogs have even received a parcel from overseas with their names on it. They definitely look like they are getting more prezzies than me.

Christmas....
My family don't really celebrate Christmas, but we do go out to expensive restaurant on the day...
Guess I'll be cooking Don his favourite canine casserole 'ala Philip'
He really loves it. He just can't get enough of the casserole. He licks his bowl so much the bowl looks like it has been dishwashed three times.
If anyone wants my homemade canine casserole recipe, just ask.

Making the casserole is easy.

Ingredients:

1X large potatoe, peeled and cubed
1/4 of a large onion, sliced
Either 1 large chicken leg sliced, or 300g of beef, or 300g of pork sliced, or one and a half ham steak, cubed. (Don prefers either ham steak or pork, but every dogs are different, so try them out)
2X tablespoons flour
water

Method:

Mix water and flour until creamy and thick. Put cubed potatoes into a baking bowl. Preheat oven to 180oC. Saute onion and meat together until brown, adding a little bit of salt IF you are NOT using ham steak, as ham steak is already salty and dogs are not allowed to salty foods. Saute until nice smells come out, onions are brown, and meat 60% cooked, then add about 200mls of hot boiling water, then leave to the boil. Once boiling, add the mixture of flour and water, stir until evenly mixed. Pour the mixture to the baking bowl, make sure the potatoes are covered in the mixture, cover the bowl with foil, then put in preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the soup is thick.
Add rice, wait until it cools down, serve it to your dog and watch him/her worship you for it.
