Hi,
i'm a student currently in JC1 (year 12 in NZ) in Singapore and i have a dying urge to immigrate to NZ next year to continue my year 13 and university studies. However, i was looking through the immigration website and it seemed like the only way to become a PR is if you are skilled aka a university graudate? I'm wondering if a student like me will have a chance of getting the PR status? My parents would not be following me and I already have a guardian (family friend. Not blood related) over in NZ who is willing to take care of me. I want to know the risks im taking first before i apply for the Expression Of Interest which costs a hefty sum of NZ$400.
Also, im willing to sign a bond to New Zealand. I intend to settle down in New Zealand and not in Singapore.

Actually i want this so badly that im even willing to call up the immigration office multiple times and agree to any terms they'll give me if i were to get my PR status. I want this really badly. hope someone could help me! Im having my examinations in less than a week and im actually still researching on the possible ways i can get my pr. But dont worry, i manage my time well

Good luck with your exams - New Zealand will still be here when they're out of the way so would def advise to concentrate on your exams first :-)

Thank you so much for replying me! I was worried that no one would help me on this. I've even emailed the nz embassy here in Singapore but they haven't replied! I almost thought that I had no hope!
However, I have not received your private message. Sorry if I'm kind of rushing. I just really want to know how much hope I have as my friend who's a nz citizen and myself think that there's really close to no hope
