Hey everyone,

This is just to say that Jessie, Foster Dog #804, (the one with the non-existent
tail) is now in her forever home. Yes, and that is my home, her foster Mum.
For many weeks, she has placed her paws on my heart and those soulful eyes have
been begging me to take her in and I finally made that decision.
She is settled, loves her new house and new bed as Photobucket has proved. At
some stage I should upload them to this site so everyone can see them. A wolf
DUVET is her bed, right next to my bed, and sometimes it is on the bed.

So hooray to Lil Miss Jess (as she is called here), she is home!

Hmm 45 other dogs have come through rescue since Lil Miss Jess. I am so happy the obstacles that were initially in your way of having a forever dog of your own are now non existent as Jessie truly found her home the first day you fostered her.

Oh for goodness sakes - it was always just going to be a formality of signing the papers and Lil Jess knew that!!! We don't always get to choose the dogs we want - they choose us (as Denise so frequently reminded not so long ago)! Angie you know now I feel about Lil Miss Jess and you (and Amber)! I am so very very happy and relieved that that wee girl now - officially - has her own home and that she won't have to go through the upheaval ever again of wondering who really loves or wants her. Her life had been so tragic until she came through the Trust and met you. I think this is just wonderful and of course had no hesitation in agreeing it was the right decision for you to become her real mum.(Now where are those bloody tissues!)

Ummm I seem to recall a GSD called Sharni not to long ago in the same boat as Jess, another formality. I'll say no more. You go from one end of the scale like me, asked to foster a 3week old pup until it is able to be adopted, ummm never left, then a 5month old pup that to also never left, to those that take a little longer. The most important thing is that they all find their forever home & fall on their paws.

And I think she must sense it because boy did I get big cuddles and kisses last night lol.
I adore her to pieces and she me, and I love the fact she is so happy when I get home from work. Those beautiful brown eyes of hers!
