I am a UK ex-pat and now have NZ citizenship. My eldest brother and his wife are retired in the UK and would like to migrate here. They have money to invest and enough to support themselves.

They lived here for 15 years back in the 70's and their son was born here, but they returned to the UK.

Is there a category that covers their situation? As a sister, can I sponsor them, even though they are in their 60's? I'd be grateful for your help. smile

Hi Chris17

I am unable to give out immigration advice but I will pass your details onto a licensed and registered Immigration Consultant who Simply NZ works alongside.

Many thanks and good luck

Hi Chris

The following information has been passed to us by one of our licensed Immigration Agents....

"If your family once held residence status then they can apply to INZ for confirmation that it is still applicable. If not, they will have to apply under a residence category that they are eligible for at today’s date".

Good luck
