Hi Folks, I am Cruz and I will be adoption number 815. I really need some help to get to Auckland so I can start life with my new family. Is anyone flying up from Wellington next week as my new mum can get some time off work to help me settle in.

We have managed to get a flight organised for Monday afternoon, now I just need someone in Lower Hutt to be able to get him to the airport by 4pm at the latest as flight leaves at 5pm. Is anyone able to help us out with this.

Got this sorted now folks. Cruz WILL get to Auckland.

Cruz is heading up to Auckland tomorrow afternoon. Thanks to Andrew in Wellington who is collecting him from animal control and Martin who is flying down to Wellington to escort Cruz up to his new home with Richard and Jacqui. Air NZ grab a seat and having Martin flying down with the crate and bring Cruz back as accompanied luggage was cheaper than sending down crate and freighting Cruz up. Thank goodness someone likes flying - planes always get delayed when I fly. Last time the computers went down all over NZ and they had to manually book everyone. I had a very long wait at the airport - so no more flying for this kid unless extreme emergency

You did pretty good with the weather in Wellington too Denise. I was most impressed! (Saves hanging onto the seat for dear life on approach into Wellington Airport).
