Checkout the UTE everyone is talking about on TradeMe

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=251715180

In the 80's they made real ute's for real blokes! Designed to do the job be a ute! This is the 'man's man' of utes! Perfect for the rural bloke that wants a reliable, cheap to run flat-deck ute that starts first time each morning & can fit the work dogs, couple of sheep & a few bales of hay on the back. There is even enough room inside for the missus or two girlfriends.

This diesel ute boasts an original 80's beige-ish colour scheme & silver chrome bits! Speedo reads an impressive 131435!

This rugged beauty of a ute is driven about once a week by a guy that wears flannel shirts & has perfected the rural wave the solemn raising of the 'pointing' finger from the wheel when passing another ute. This is NOT the type of ute for guys that like to take their hand off the steering wheel to wave, those type of men-folk would be more suited to a late model Hyundi.

This is a real blokes ute & it has all the tough bloke stuff inside, including beige-ish colored vinyl seats designed to stick to the back of your legs on a hot summers day, a clock that gets the time right twice a day, cigarette lighter, horn, heater, seat belts, sun visors, rear vision mirror & a speedo that goes all the way up to 160km/h!

You'll impress the chicks with this ute as it oozes real man charm with special bloke features such as column shift gear change (gives your date plenty of time to check out your rugged, manly hands), no power steering (so your date can marvel at your bulging biceps as you try & negotiate a 6 point turn) & a heater that takes about 7 minutes to produce heat on extra chilly days (so she'll just have to slide on over that sleek vinyl & snuggle into you until the ute warms up).

Exterior boasts a tow bar designed at that right height to crack you on the shin at least once a day, flat deck with all sides that can drop down, 4 wheels, side mirrors & an awesome exhaust that billows out a great plume of black diesel fumes when you first start her up just to let everyone know that you are off to do man stuff!

What a fabulous piece of engineering! (and how gorgeous dogs are those dogs in the photos).

Its a bit like my old 4x4, fits our dogs into it.....the inside has seen better days....bits of hay stuck here and there....

what more could a girl want :-)
