Located in a Dual World Heritage Area, visitors have a choice of two ski fields, being Whakapapa and Turoa. Whakapapa and Turoa, have a combined area of 1050 hectares, making Mt Ruapehu the largest skiable area in New Zealand.

A variety of terrain is available to suit all levels of skiers including learner slopes plus special areas for tobogganning and tubing.
