New Zealand Cup and Show Week is a unique time in Christchurch when racing, fashion, food and entertainment converge to create a festival atmosphere that is high action, high energy and high stakes.

Running from the 6th - 15th November 2009, there is so much to see and do in 'The Garden City'.

At main attraction is of course, New Zealand Cup Week, which includes both the Galloping and Trotting Cup race meetings where Addington and Riccarton Racecourses celebrate the finest NZ has to offer both on and off the track.

Another big attraction is The Royal New Zealand Show which brings country to town and showcases trade displays, carnival rides, wine, food and cooking demonstrations.

Music and entertainment also feature strongly with Southern Amp and The International Rodeo rounding off the week.
