Hi, I really have no idea about what I have to do to move over.

I'm moving from Australia and plan to move over for about a year, would this be even possible just doing any work, or would I have to have some qualifications?

Sorry if this question comes across stupid to you, I have no understanding of how it would work.

Basically I just want to move across for something different, would just be looking for any kind of work.

What I would like would be to move to a smallish community, doing any sort of work I could find, such as working in a supermarket, etc.
I'm just really looking for a place where I can relax and New Zealand seems to be a good place, and it's not too far away.
