HI help!!!!!

I have been selected from EOI pool 25th February 09 now 23rd may my case officer has emailed that he wont be offering me an ITA because the job Offer i have is from my parents who run several businesses in New Zealand, i dont think there are any rules about this as long as the job offer is real and he is making out that the job was created for me to go there when it wasnt and without me working for them my parents cant go ahead with the expansion they had planned with me on board.
he is abviously discriminating against me and them is there anything i can do any suggestions welcome

More or less there isnt a rule, but there is a conflict of interest, where it needs to determine whether or not the job is genuine and whether or not this position was created for the purpose of allowing you to migrate to New Zealand.

I do not beleive they are discriminating against you in anyway unless you truely have skills or qualifications in which your position is essential and cannot be filled by NZL residents.

It is common in some country that it is there 'ethos' and business practice to employ family members. I understand you said the Job offer was not made specifically for you. however it is onus for you to provide the proof etc.

I suggest if you beleive your hard done by this to contact the branch manager in a formal manner.

this job cant be offered to anyone else but a family member because it is a live in postion and the idea of having a stranger living along side of them in their open plan home is a no go for my parents for security reasons.
My case officer is like a stuck record my work experience stacks up only i can have the job without that there will be no expansion therefore no further jobs that could have been created for a kiwi or two i dont think case officers are human
