The Southern Lakes Festival of Colour is a biennial celebration of the arts.

Six exciting days and nights of astounding performances and inspiring exhibitions set against the spectacular autumnal backdrop of the Southern Lakes.

The Festival is based in Wanaka but reaches out to the wider region with performances in Luggate, Hawea, Tarras, Bannockburn and Arrowtown.

This year the festival runs from 28th April 2009 - 3 May 2009.

We are also looking forward to this, the colours on the trees are changing already and should arrive just in time for the festival.

Arrowtown, Queenstown and Wanaka definately offer a piece of paradise for this event.

Alot of the events are booked out so get in quick for the ones that still have tickets- prices vary for different things.
