NIWA has released a report that Dunedin is one of the driest cities in NZ receiving only 705mm of rain in 2008, 1mm more than Christchurch & 957mm less than Wellington.
We recorded 1912 sunshine hours & in March, September & November past the highest temperatures on record for Dunedin.
