Hi all,

Some of you may recall that after chatting on here, that my wife and I decided to rent out our lovely fully furnished flat to UK people coming over to Tauranga, to help them get settled in the area whilst they were waiting for their stuff to arrive, and whilst they explored the area and where they'd like to live!

Our 3rd family have just passed through and are on their way soon and so the flat is available again! If anyone is coming over to Tauranga and wants to find out more, don't hesitate to send me a message!!

Cheers all!

Pete.

Hi Pete,

Although for me it might a bit early to talk about that, but would like to have an overview over the housing in NZ.

How many bedrooms in your flat ? Which floor ?
Is it furnished ? What is its condition ?
Price ?

Regards,

Ali Ismail

Hi Rubydragon

We're thinking about moving to Tauranga and are wondering how you find it as a place to live and work?

Many thanks

Lorraine & Dom

Hi Lorraine and Dom,

We can't really speak highly enough about the place, although we are aware that things have fallen really well for us.

I had arranged work prior to moving here and that had gone well, and my wife ended up with work really easily and quickly so that was great.

We have been made to feel very welcome by our colleagues and neighbours and are the area is great for us - as we like walks along the beach and the mount and the outdoor life. The climate has also been kind! We have tried to integrate into the community as much as possible and so I play soccer for a local team and my wife does some volunteer work - that has certainly helped with friends etc..

Please feel free to e-mail if you have any questions about the area.

Cheers,

Pete.

Thanks, we are so looking forward to coming over to Tuaranga, we already have a long term friend there which is great, we're just a bit unsure about how much carpentry work is there for Dom as we havent seen much adverstised on the job search website's which is why he will be arriving first while I still keep my job in the UK.

I've tried to send you a PM about costs and whereabouts of the flat etc. but only members with over 200 posts are allowed to do this now. is there any other way you could forward me some details?

Many thanks,

Lorraine & Dom

Hi guys,

I didn't know about this PM thing either! Sounds weird!

Happy to respond.

You appear to be struggling here re email addresses they are no longer in our profiles and you do have to have 200 posts to send PM.

I wonder if Doug has any suggestions I will ask him when I speak to him. By the way have you been to his butchers shop in Parton Road Papapmoa. Its worth a visit I can assure you.

I have made it that rugbydragon can now send PM if there is any users that you feel we can trust let me know and I will turn on there PM

Once you have PM you can PM any user and they can reply to your PM they just can not start up a PM to any user until they have 200 post under there belt.

I tried once to PM June, the page said that the message was sent successfully, but no reply from her.

It was on June's birthday.
