The world's ultimate party gets under way on Friday June 27th 2008 at Earnslaw Park, Queenstown, New Zealand.

A fireworks display roars into the night sky from 7.30pm followed by full pumping dance music that will have the whole town on it's feet.

Many events make up the 10 day festival including Ice Hockey, Arts & Crafts Markets, a Jazz Night, Wine & Cuisine demonstrations from nationally renowned chefs & even a Teddy Bears Picnic.

With snow well down on the mountains and a good base already in place at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables Ski Fields, Winter Festival is shaping up to be one of the best yet.
