Sounds more like a new entrants' class at a primary school: A company called Veterinary Pet Insurance in California recently analysed its 450,000 insured clients and came up with lists of the top 10 dog names. According to VPI,
The top 10 male dog names, starting with number one, are Max, Buddy, Rocky, Bailey, Jake, Charlie, Jack, Toby, Cody and Buster. The top 10 female dog names are Bella, Molly, Lucy, Maggie, Daisy, Sophie, Sadie, Chloe, Bailey and Lola.

Andrea
I was not actually at work when I posted that :P
I found it quite interesting. I saw the Chloe ( 337) and a couple of other names that seemed familiar. But after having named one of the cats Volvo and having to explain to the vet why he was called that ), nothing seems to surprise me any more. Volvo named after a b12 Volvo double decker bus that he was found in.

We had a gorgeous little huntaway/lab X and my hubby wanted to name her after a Man. United player, and being an Arsenal supporter myself, we ended up making a compromise and she became Wembley (after Wembley Stadium). The name couldn't have suited her more! Although she did up being called Weebles alot too. I must admit - we haven't come across that name again.

None of the dogs that I have owned share the popular names either! I had a Sheltie Collie called Susie, and a short-haired collie named Millie. Had to give Millie away as I moved house and the place we were renting didn't have adequate fencing She would have been just over a year old I think, and went from being a pet to being a work dog on a lifestyle block, so probably remained somewhat of a pet.
