The 2007 New Zealand snow season was launched yesterday (11 June 2007) at Queenstown's Coronet Peak.
A social opening day will be held with skiing and riding on the main M1and Big Easy trails and beginner area.
"The snowmaking has produced sufficient cover across the main M1 and Big Easy trails and we're sure people will enjoy some good turns," said ski area manager Hamish McCrostie.
The Coronet Express quad chair, Meadows double chair and the magic carpet beginner lift will operate from 9am offering access to the groomed M1 and Big Easy trails.
