The province of Marlborough is truly a stunning place to visit and boasts some of the best year-round weather in New Zealand!

Blenheim is the region's main commercial centre and hub of the famous Marlborough wine district and makes a great base for exploring the region.

Here's a small suggestion of touring routes/guides to help get you started.

The town of Blenheim is rather compact and easy to navigate on foot, which is great if you don't want to drive a campervan or motorhome through the town, just park up and enjoy the great cafes and shops all within easy walking distance!

From here you can head out to Renwick, which is just 4 minutes from the airport and take one of the numerous guided wine and food tours or enjoy a self-drive exploration of the largest grape-growing region in the country. Wine cycle tours are also available for the more energetic visitors.

From Renwick you can head West on State Highway 63 to the Wairau Valley. Enjoy the views of rolling hills and excellent tramping routes of the Richmond Forest Park and St Arnaud range. This wide river valley offers excellent fishing from the Wairau's cool clear waters and wonderful rural attractions.

If you are staying for a couple of days in Blenheim here are some suggetions to make the most of your time! </font>
