Plenty to see and do including the popular Zoo Encounters. Presented by Auckland Zoo keepers, Zoo Encounters gives you an opportunity to come 'eye to eye' with some of the magnificent animals within the zoo, including Giraffe, Lemur, Elephant, Meerkat, Kea, Orangutan, Lion, Sealion, Cheetah, Red panda, Hippo, Lorikeet and much much more!

Admission to Auckland Zoo costs NZ$9.00 for children (aged 4-15 years) and NZ$18.00 for adults, family passes are also available.

Auckland Zoo is located on Motions Road, Western Springs and is open daily (excluding Christmas Day).
