Heli-Skiing and Boarding

Although there is no established field in the park, there are many opportunities for skiing. Access to suitable areas is usually by helicopter or skiplane, although keen ski tourers can climb to some classic wilderness neve areas. Most skiing in the Park is guided, either heli-skiing or 'ski the glacier' trips on Tasman Glacier, which offers intermediate runs of up to 20km through ice caves and amazing scenery.
