Our coffee is sourced directly from the Muljane district in the high- altitude Shire Highlands of Malawi, a central African country whose principal crops are tea and tobacco.

High altitude slows the growing process increasing the quality. Out of season rain (chiperoni) and fertile volcanic soils also combine to produce excellent conditions. Chiperonis apply a misty drizzle of up to four days, three or four times a winter season. A good flowering is brought on by the last of the chiperoni.

Malawi coffee, as an origin, is renowned for its good acidity and medium body, leading to a fine coffee.
