BREWING TIPS "PLUNGER"

1. Make sure your plunger is clean. Unlike a teapot, all utensils for making coffee should be washed and rinsed thoroughly.
2. Once the kettle has boiled with clean, fresh water, warm the plunger flask with a small amount of boiled water. Swirl around and throw away.
3. Allow the kettle for stand for a minute or so after boiling. Pouring boiling water on the coffee will make it bitter.
4. Add one heaped desert-spoon of filter/plunger coffee per cup/mug to the warmed plunger flask (note: you may need more or less depending on personal taste.
5. Pour in the water to the required level and insert the plunger till the mesh filter is resting at the top of the water level.
6. Allow to stand for three to four minutes before pushing the mesh filter slowly down to separate the grounds from the liquid.

This method of making coffee should produce a heavy, full-flavoured coffee and is quick and easy to make. Using freshly roasted and ground Origin Coffee may produce a crema (similar to the top of an espresso coffee) when pouring into the cup.

Good luck and enjoy!
