Invercargill club is a seaside, links-type course, which is regarded as one of the friendliest and most enjoyable courses in the country. This 6,078 metre, par 73 course is flat to gently undulating and can be easily underestimated. Placement of tee shots can be critical on some holes.
Queens Park in the centre of Invercargill city, is a pleasant public course where you can enjoy a relaxed round of golf at a very low cost.
Te Anau club is based in Waiau Road on the southern shores of Lake Te Anau. This 5,880 metre, par 72 course is a delight to play with its wide open fairways and panoramic vistas of the lake and the rugged Murchison Mountains of Fiordland National Park. There is not a lot of activity here on weekdays so a relaxed round is guaranteed. The booking and equipment hire should be made in advance.
