The Auckland Art Gallery boasts the most extensive collection of national and international art within New Zealand. Located within two buildings, the public art gallery has a main gallery and a new gallery that exhibits work from its collection along with a programme of national and international touring exhibitions. The gallery is open daily from 10am - 5pm and entry to the gallery is free, however admission charges apply for special exhibitions. The gallery also features a gallery shop for purchases.
